''THE SUCCESS OF BAAHUBALI BOOSTED OUR CONFIDENCE.''

Superstar Prince Mahesh Babu starrer Selvandhan’s audio launch was held yesterday, 4th of August at Chennai. Mahesh Babu looked truly enthused about this Tamil dubbed version of Srimanthudu, releasing simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. He further credited cinematographer Madhi for this attempt as it must be noted that previously Mahesh Babu’s features have only had a delayed dubbed release in Tamil.

While we spoke to the man behind this attempt, cinematographer Madhi, this is what he had to say,

“The content of the film has no regional or language based boundaries. It deals with a general theme that can be related by anyone. An additional reason being the number of Tamil artists like Sukanya, Shruti Haasan, Sampath and Harish who hold pivotal roles in the film. Another strong point is the success of Baahubali which boosted our confidence.

All this made me suggest the team for a simultaneous release and it was a last minute decision. I am glad that the team has managed to pull it off despite time constraints.”

We certainly wish this attempt be successful, and paves the path for other Mahesh Babu films to also release simultaneously in Tamil!
