A gripping film much appreciated by the censors

Kaaval - the upcoming Vemal, Samuthirakani, Geetha starrer directed by V.R.Nagendran and produced by SG Films, is set for release sometime this month. The makers are looking to first release the audio (composed by G.V.Prakash) between the 10th and 14th of this month, before the movie's release.

The film has been censored with a U/A and the censor board has apparently been completely impressed by the film and its content. The film was passed without any cuts and has a crisp run-time of just around 1 hour 50 mins. Editor Praveen K.L has edited the flick in a racy manner, reportedly.

Earlier titled as Nee Yellam Nalla Varuvada, the title was changed to Kaaval as many people who saw the film, including promising directors, top industry personnel and police officials felt that the film deserved a more serious and purposeful title.

The film's theme is centered on contract killers and the police force, and it promises to be a gripping experience for the viewers. The shooting was done in around 60 days in places around Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry.

The team believes that they have come up with a good film and are eagerly waiting for the audiences to pass their verdict.
