Rajathandhiram is on the way up .. The team is thrilled

Of all the new releases, it is Rajathandhiram which is making the maximum inroads among the audience and at the box-office too. The film picked up noticeably on Saturday and Sunday after its Friday release, thanks to the overwhelmingly positive reviews from the media and fans. It is reportedly doing the best in places like Chennai city, Coimbatore and Madurai. Many centers have given confirmation to continue the film in the 2nd week too, and there is a marked increase in the shows and screens.

The lead cast members of the film, including Veera and Regina, are currently doing a city-wise tour to promote the film and give it a wider canvas. They are now in Coimbatore. When we spoke to Veera, this is what he had to say.

"I am feeling overwhelmed at the positive response from the media and the audience. They have appreciated the film in totality and not just certain aspects of it. Fingers crossed to see if the film can sustain and become a clean winner.

Industry seniors like Simbu, Khushboo mam and Vijay sir had been very supportive and instrumental in giving our film some amount of recall among the audience, pre-release. Being a new team, using the online medium was our best possible option and such celebrities with their wide following helped us a lot.

Personally speaking, I always look to lend some amount of honesty to the roles that I play, after receiving all the required inputs from the team members. Glad that my effort is being welcomed by viewers."
