7 DIFFERENT STALWARTS FOR SHANKAR ...

Ever since Shankar made his debut film Gentleman, every subsequent film of his has had a grand opening and massive expectations before release. The excitement level is going to soar high again as the maverick director will be teaming up with Superstar Rajinikanth yet again for Enthiran 2.

This film is in its pre-production phase now and can be expected to go on floors by the end of 2015. The latest we hear is that the technical team may comprise cinematographer Nirav Shah for camera and Muthuraj in the art direction department. Other regulars of Shankar like AR Rahman and editor Anthony are also expected to grace this project with their presence.

If it works out, this will be Shankar’s first collaboration with Nirav Shah. He has so far worked with 8 cinematographers - Jeeva (Gentleman, Kadhalan & Indian), Ashok Kumar (Jeans), KV Anand (Mudhalvan, Nayak & Sivaji), Ravi K Chandran (Boys), Ravi Varman (Anniyan), Rathnavelu (Enthiran), Manoj Paramahamsa (Nanban), PC Sreeram (I) and now Nirav Shah (Enthiran 2).

Which also means Shankar has chosen to work with 7 different cinematographers in his last 7 films?
