''ALL THE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS FROM THE 1ST PART WOULD BE ADDRESSED IN THE 2ND PART OF BAAHUBALI''

SS Rajamouli's Baahubali is being raved about all over the world, and Tamil Nadu is no exception. The dialogue writer for the Tamil version, Madhan Karky is busy accepting accolades and appreciation for his words and also for 'Click', the language that he specifically created for the Kalakeya tribe in the film. We had a quick chat with Karky in the aftermath of the film's release,

 

"Many people from the industry such as directors KV Anand, Gokul and actor Karthi have called and appreciated me. Karthi said that he loved the dialogue sequence about 'Maranam' during the 2nd half's war segment. Rajamouli sir called me from Andhra and said that people are loving 'Click' and have started using it in everyday life. It is a very tough challenge to speak this complex language and kudos to Prabhakar (the actor who played the leader of the Kalakeya tribe) and two other actors who dubbed these lines.

 

About 50% of the dialogue work for the 2nd part is complete and we would resume work in August. The second part would have more drama and all the unanswered questions from the first part, surrounding Devasena and Kattappa, would be addressed in the 2nd part.

 

On the whole, I am very happy with the feedback and it feels great when specific lines and words are being singled out. This shows the level of impact that the dialogues have created on the viewer."
