SECOND FILM WITH THALA AJITH?

Trisha Illana Nayanthara (TIN) directed by debutant Adhik Ravichandran will be gearing up for this month end release. The film features music composer G V Prakash, Kayal fame Anandhi and Manisha Yadav in lead roles. The audio and the trailer of the film have been garnering attention, thanks to its youthful content.

Talking to behindwoods director Adhik states that he is extremely delighted about the response his film has generated. He adds, “There is only positive energy surrounding the film, trailer and the songs. I am glad that it is happening for my very first film. When I was working on the teaser, all that I had hoped was that everybody should like it. When I was cutting the trailer, I did not take any pressure and did it in a chilled out way. Since the teaser had been welcomed, I expected the trailer also to follow the same path”.

Why did he choose G V Prakash? “I wanted someone who is well known at the same time a fresh face for the lead in TIN. G V fitted the bill as an innocent youngster. I wanted a face which when cries on the screen should evoke laughter from the audience. And when I approached him, he was open to the idea and that’s how GV came on board”.

There are widespread talks that Adhik will be working with Ajith for his next. What does he have to say about this? “Of Course, it is my dream to do a film with Ajith sir. I also have a story for him but am yet to meet him. I would be naturally happy if Thala calls me for a story narration. Who will not be? I hope and wish it happens!”
