FIVE FILMS IN ONE DAY?

It has been two days since India celebrated one of its important festivals, Diwali. For the Tamil movie buffs, it has indeed been a special Diwali as two big stars like Kamal Haasan and Ajith treated us with two distinctive films of their style.

The next big festival clash will happen on Pongal 2016. As of now, five films are eyeing a Pongal release and they are,

1.Suriya starring, Vikram K Kumar’s 24

2.Siddharth starring, Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2

3.Vishal starring, Pandiraj’s Kathakali

4.Sasikumar starring, Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai

5.Jiiva starring, Ramnath’s Thirunaal.

Though official announcements are due regarding the theatrical release of these films, this list is based on the widespread talk that is taking its round in the tinsel town.

It must be noted that director Pandiraj’s Idhu Namma Aalu is yet to announce a release date. So will it hit the screens before this year end or will it join the Pongal race? Let's await announcements to come and then plan our festival agendas accordingly.
