NAYANTHARA, AFTER A LONG TIME …

Thirunaal is an upcoming film being directed by P S Ramnath and produced by M Senthilkumar for Kodhandapani Films.

The film is being shot in Kumbakonam and its neighboring areas at a brisk pace. Almost 50% of the shooting is over and sources claim that the film is being done in a grand budget.

Jiiva and Nayanthara play the leads in Thirunaal and the duo is teaming up after SP Jhananathan’s E. Shooting is going on in a continuous mode. Fifteen days of rain effect shots were canned with romantic portions underway currently. Many crowd scenes were also filmed with junior artists, while a couple of stunt sequences have also been completed.

Jiiva plays a rugged, rustic character named 'Blade' while Nayanthara, after a long time dons on a village belle role. On the technical side, Sri scores music for Thirunaal, while Mahesh Muthusamy is in charge of cinematography.
