- Following the success of ‘Ivan Vera Mathiri’ and ‘Vellai Illa Pattathari’, actress Surbhi has been paired with Jai in ‘Pugazh’ and the hot news is that she also has ‘Attack’ with director Ram Gopal Varma. With the trailer of Pugazh releasing this 23rd July, the Delhi girl is very excited about her soaring career graph.

- With 'Kaakka Muttai' fame director Manikandan's script, the film Kirumi's audio is launching today, the 22nd of July. The film has been produced by JPR films and music composer K has taken care of the soundtracks for this psychological thriller directed by Anucharan.

- Veteran actor, Sivaji Ganesan's Veera Pandiya Katta Bomman is all set for a re-release on July 31st. When yesteryear masterpieces like Paasa Malar and Karnan were digitized, colour-corrected and re-released, the audience embraced them. A similar response is expected for this movie too.

- This 31st of July, the silverscreen will witness four films with varied genres. Vijay Sethupathi's Orange Mittai, Jayam Ravi’s Sakalakalavallavan Appatakkar, Vikram Prabhu’s Idhu Enna Mayam and Vikranth’s Thaakka Thaakka. It is going to be a busy weekend for all film buffs!

- The new Bhoopathy Pandian - Vemal project is expected to kickstart with a formal poojai on August 3rd. This Escape Artists P.Madan project will start off with its full-fledged shooting from August 18th.
