3RD TIME WITH AR RAHMAN?

As reported earlier legendary director Priyadarshan is all set to direct a Tamil film to be produced by Amala Paul and director Vijay under the Think Big Studios production banner.

We hear that this is an experimental movie with no songs, where the film’s re-recording would take the centre stage. This film which talks about AIDS awareness will feature the likes of Prakash Raj, Ashok Selvan and Sriya Reddy in the lead roles.

According to our sources close to the team, Isai Puyal AR Rahman has apparently been approached to score the music for the film and he is likely to sign the project. Official announcement in this regard is still awaited.

If AR Rahman is roped in for this project, it would be his third association with Priyadarshan after Kabhi Na Kabhi and Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, both of which released in 1998. Apart from AR Rahman, this untitled project has some giant names like Santosh Sivan and Sabu Cyril handling the camera and production design, respectively.
