Filmmaker Priyadarshan was floored by the sudden visit of Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron at the shooting spots of his Malayalam movie ‘Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P. Madhavan Nairum’ in Abu Dhabi. The film is a comedy-drama revolving around the adventures of few characters in the backdrops of Dubai. As Priyan was shooting for the film with Mohan Lal, the entire crew was taken by huge surprise when James Cameron arrived there.
Sources mention that Cameron was present for 2011 Abu Dhabi Media Summit to give lecture on 3D Technology. Priyadarshan who was staying in the same hotel had arranged a meeting, but James Cameron wanted to meet Priyadarshan on the shooting spots. The Hollywood icon appreciated him for making a film with limited crew.
When Priyadarshan was seeking advice to make his first 3D movie in Hindi, James Cameron asked him to shoot the film directly in 3D format instead of adding the effects in post production phase.
Brimmed with confidence, Priyadarshan will soon kick-start his 3D project.
