Will Arun Vijay be a part of Yennai Arindhaal 2 ?

Despite the attributes such as a thunderous cop, emotional attachments and stylized story telling, the villain of Yennai Arindhaal has become the talk of the town. Victor played by Arun Vijay, was a one-of-a-kind performance. His role in the movie shook the audience and his unexpected presentation of Victor made people turn their heads. How will Victor be in Yennai Arindhaal 2? (where there would be no cops or any police angle in the story as told by Gautham Menon himself)

 

When our Behindwoods Correspondent spoke to Arun Vijay asking if he would be a part of the sequel, he said "I don't know anything about it as of now. But if I am presented with the same role, I will be more than happy to work with Gautham sir again."

 

Although in the film, it is shown in the end as if the cops are killing Victor (spoiler alert!), when we enquired about this bit, Arun Vijay clarified saying "If you notice keenly, in the climax, after Sathyadev drags Victor's body to the road, the cops look down and shoot incessantly. But, the film doesn't actually show the body of Victor." When asked if this is a hint for his role in the sequel, he smiled.

 

This talented actor has been getting many offers post Yennai Arindhaal. He said "I am picking and choosing my scripts very carefully because I want every movie of mine to be unique. I am in no hurry."

He is all set for his upcoming movie Vaa Deal co-starring Karthika Nair and directed by Shiva Gnanam.

 

As reported earlier Vaa Deal showcases Arun Vijay in a completely different role compared to Yennai Arindhaal. This convincing villain said "I play as a boy next door named Velu, in a housing board locality, who talks a lot contrary to Victor. I have been waiting for Yennai Arindhaal's release, for Vaa Deal to hit the theaters, due to my confidence over Victor's impact. I hope our audience like my character. Sathish is there for comedic support while you can also see some thrilling car chase scenes. This film is a racy entertainer."

 

It is to be noted that the music and trailer of this movie will be launched next month, followed by the movie release.
