ARANMANAI 2 PUSHED BECAUSE OF VISHAL'S KATHAKALI?

We had earlier reported that the Siddharth, Trisha and Hansika starrer Aranmanai 2, which is directed by Sundar C would be releasing for Pongal 2016. But we now hear that it has apparently been postponed to January 29th. The change in the release date is mainly due to the prolonged CG work along with the last leg of tuning.

It is also to be noted that both Kathakali and Aranmanai 2 are being distributed by Sri Thenandal Films. And it is quite possible that the date change is a strategy to avoid a clash between their own films.
