A WORLD RECORD FOR SUNDAR C’S ARANMANAI 2?

Following the success of Aranmanai, director Sundar C is working in Aranmanai 2 that features Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika, Poonam Bajwa, Soori and others. The film has the music of Hip Hop Adhi.

The unit is currently shooting the climax portion of the film in front of a huge 103 feet tall amman statue that has been specially created for this purpose. It is reported that this statue is the tallest in Asia, and is likely to get into the Limca Book of World Records.

Art director Gururaj has created this masterpiece in front of which numerous junior artists are taking part in a song and dance sequence. Talking about this Gururaj says, “Initially we thought we would create the amman statue through CG work, but later decided against it and went for creating it live. It took forty days to finish the work and during the period, we followed all norms religiously and kept vratham and completed the task”.
