Feb 27, 2015Though Anushka Shetty had a mediocre launch in Tamil with the film Rendu, Arundhathi's dubbed version got released in Tamil and made her a popular face. The tall actress is known for taking up women-centric roles and Telugu as well as the Tamil audience love seeing her in such avatars.
The long in the making Rudramadevi is one such film where Anushka plays the role of a fearless queen. The mega budget venture is also releasing in Tamil through Sri Thenandal films by the 24th of April, banking on the summer vacations. Rana Daggubatti has done an important role and that could be some attraction for the Tamil audience. Baahubali, another ambitious project in which Anushka plays a similar role, is also well expected.
