ANJALI RETURNS ?

Actress Shamili, younger sister of Shalini Ajith Kumar might make her Kollywood comeback after 15 long years. Looks like the actress has been approached to play Vikram Prabhu's lady love for his upcoming untitled film directed by Ganesh Vinayak. An official confirmation from the team is awaited.

Shamili, known majorly for her unforgettable performance as a child actor in Mani Ratnam’s Anjali, has acted in few other Tamil films too like Durga and Thai Poosam. Her last Tamil film was Kandukondain Kandukondain which released in the year 2000.

Supposedly the other frontrunner for this role is Kannada actress Ranya Rao. It must be noted that Ranya is the female lead in Vikram Prabhu’s ongoing film Wagah too.

This Vikram Prabhu - Ganesh Vinayak project is expected to go on floors by the end of this month. Stay tuned for more updates.
