“It is good to work with musically inclined directors”, says music director

Having worked with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Anjana made her directorial debut with Veppam that had Nani, Nithya Menon, Karthik Kumar and Bindu Madhavi in lead roles.

Anjana has begun her second film interestingly titled ‘Pal’aandu Vaazhga, the quotes for ‘Pal’ seem to suggest the love story of a dentist. One schedule of the film is over and the next schedule is slated to begin soon. This film has Rahul Ravindran and Wasna Ahamed in lead roles and Poornima Bhagyaraj and Devadarshini in supporting roles. Music for the film is being composed by Satish Chakravarthy who gave such lilting melodies in Kanimozhi and Leelai.

While talking about ‘Pal’aandu Vaazhga to behindwoods correspondent, Satish states,  “ ‘Pal’aandu Vaazhga will be a very good romantic film. Anjana is an amazing director and I have seen her Veppam. So when I got an opportunity to work with her, I was more than happy. Anjana is such a musically inclined director and I completely enjoy working with her. We have already recorded two songs for the film. One song is sung by Kay Kay which is a kind of a rock ballad”.
