Sutrula is an upcoming romantic thriller directed by V. Rajesh Alfred and starring Richard of Kadhal Virus and Rendavathu Padam fame. This film was recently sent for censor and it came out with a clean ‘U’. The makers are planning to release the movie coming December in Tamil, Telugu and also in Hindi.

When Behindwoods spoke to the inspirational young director,

"Sutrula will be a trip you will love, the movie was canned entirely in Ooty for the past 2 years. Sutrula will have a breathtaking underwater fight sequence which was shot in a swimming pool at Ooty. There is one intense scene which was shot above 7000 feet from the sea level. This particular scene is placed during the pre-interval slot, and the movie travels like a rollercoaster from there on.

We have been shooting in thick forests around Ooty for the past 2 years in unsafe conditions. There were instances when we had to run for our lives, when wild elephants intruded our shooting. We had to withstand a lot of risky situations over the past two years to come out with a blockbuster product.”
