''I have the best fans a star can ever get'' - Simbu

Silamabarasan has always commanded a very loyal and young fan following despite not having a prolific run in cinema of late. His releases have been really spaced out and the last full-length Simbu film, Podaa Podi was released way back in 2012-end. After that, he had a couple of cameo roles though.

 

He is currently shooting for films like Vaalu and Idhu Namma Aalu, but there is no word yet on when these films would be completed and released in theaters. There is another film with Gautham Menon which was commenced earlier in the year but is now on 'hibernation' mode, as Gautham is busy with his Ajith film.

 

Despite their favorite star not having releases frequently like some of his other contemporaries, Simbu fans are optimistic and vibrant as ever and they are a huge presence in the social media, spreading whatever news there is about Simbu, in a highly enthusiastic manner. Simbu was recently touched and felt blessed by the love that his ardent fans are showering on him on a daily basis and thanked them from the bottom of his heart.
