A.R.Rahman picks Santhosh Narayanan

A R Rahman is a busy composer who is quite adept straddling many horses at the same time. While he is busy with his Hollywood commitments, he is also doing some heavy work in Bollywood as well Kollywood. Although he is such an acclaimed music director, he does not lose any opportunity to appreciate good work whenever he comes across one.

He is involved in Shankar’s Ai starring Vikram and Amy Jackson and while sharing about his experience working in the film in a social networking platform, the Oscar winner says that there are quite a few talented musicians in India. Rahman says, “India is just buzzing with amazing, amazing talent. I am working with a guy from Tamil Nadu, Adi. Most of them are in the soundtrack for i. They will release it all very soon”.

Jigarthanda composer Santhosh Narayanan also has caught the fancy of Rahman when he says, “There are many now, actually (music composers). I do like some of Preetam, Mithun's work, and a new composer named Santhosh Narayanan.."
