What is happening with Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s unit?

Lakshmy Ramakrishnan with her very first directorial venture Aarohanam proved her caliber in handling sensitive subjects. She is currently busy with her second film called Nerungi Vaa Muthamidaathe which has Piaa Bajpai, Thambi Ramiah and Shruti Hariharan along with others.

As per the sources, the film is scheduled to be shot in around 45-50 locations as it is a travel script. 30% of the shoot is already completed at Trichy, Kumbakonam, Karaikal and Chennai.

Now the unit has plans to shoot in Malaysia where major scenes involving Piaa Bajpai, Thambi Ramiah and Shruti Hariharan will be canned.

The unit is keen to release the film in August. There will be around 4-5 songs that are sung by Nandini Srikar, Chinmayi, Shankar Mahadevan and Mili Nair. Na Muthukumar has penned the lyrics and Vinod Bharathy has cranked the camera.
