It's Director Bala's birthday

Director Bala, the sensation of K Town is celebrating his 48th birthday. Debuting into films with Sethu, starring Vikram, Bala has made six movies in his career so far. His last movie Paradesi gained rave reviews and also won the national award for best costumes.

The director has scripted interesting characters for actors like Suriya, Vikram, Arya, Vishal and Atharvaa, which are easily one of their career bests.

Bala is now working on his seventh venture, titled 'Thara Thappattai', which will have Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead.
