"It would be nice if Ajith and Vijay come together in a film now"

The current top stars of the Tamil film industry Ajith and Vijay appeared together in a film called Rajavin Paarvaiyilae directed by Janaki Sounder way back in 1995. The film had Ilayaraja’s music in which Vadivelu had sung a song.

One of the female artists in that film, Gayathrie later shifted gears to television wherein she had created her own space. She is also known as 'Metti Oli Saro'.

While reminiscing about Rajavin Paarvaiyilae and her working with Ajith and Vijay, she says that it was during those days when both Ajith and Vijay were at the first rung of their careers. Incidentally Gayathrie was the love interest of Ajith and when talking about her two co-stars she opines, “Vijay was very shy back then but Ajith would talk freely with me. I am not sure if both of them had envisioned their current phenomenal growth. But it would be nice if they come together in a film now”.

Of course, that would be the dream of their fans too. Isn’t it?
