Thala Ajith inspires Jai to take up racing

Actor Jai has had a passion towards racing from his childhood. However, he had not taken any steps to race. But now, we hear that the actor will be participating in his first ever car racing tournament to be held at Sriperumbudur.
 

In a recent interview, he said, “I started taking a personal interest when I met another racer, Abdullah. I was unsure about how I would be able to concentrate on my films and the races. But he told me how actor Ajith used to practice and that gave me confidence. I started taking time out on Sundays and hit the tracks. When I told the producer of one of my films that I would be participating in this tournament, he reworked the film's schedule to suit my needs. The units of my other films have also been understanding enough.”
 

Jai’s recent release Vadacurry, starring Swati Reddy as the female lead, is running to packed houses.
