When our editor contacted promising upcoming actor Karuna about his future prospects in the industry, this is what he had to say.

"I was least bothered about my role in Lingaa. The opportunity to share the screen space with a legend was what mattered to me. Getting to be on the sets with the Superstar, looking at him act, having laughter moments with him, these were magical days of my life that I couldn't afford to miss.

I am the happiest now. Lingaa is ruling the roost and Kappal is also doing fine. It is because of Santhosh Narayanan that I got the opportunity to be part of Kappal. We had so much fun on the sets of Kappal. When Shankar sir got associated, we were more than excited. I am really satisfied and happy with my presence in this illustrious industry. I think I'm doing the right kind of roles. As of now, I'm enjoying my work thoroughly. All that I need to do is meet the expectations of the director and not waste any time or money.

I am talking to you from the sets of Uppu Karuvaadu. Radha Mohan sir is the most chilled out director. He is a bundle of knowledge. This will also be a typical Radha Mohan film. A lighthearted entertainer with lots of pun.

Coming out of the comfort zones and working with a variety of technicians is giving me so much of learning. Can't ask for more."
