Thanga Meengal gives Ram a chance to speak in Tamil

Thanga Meengal was screened in the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India held at Goa today, 26th November, 2013. It was said that Inox theatre, the venue were the event was held, was houseful with audience from various parts of the world.

The movie will be screened again on 29th November. Being the only Tamil film selected in Indian Panorama, the cast & crew of the film were given a grand red carpet welcome. 

 

Director Ram, Producer J. Satish Kumar, Artists Padmapriya & Shelly Kishore were felicitated before the screening. Director Ram started off his speech with the famous quote from the movie "'magalgalai petra appakkalukku mattum thaan theriyum mutham kamathil serthanthu illaiyentru"

 

"I am happy that Thanga Meengal gave me an opportunity to talk in Tamil here," Director Ram said while addressing the audience before the screening.
