The super-prolific poet speaks

Na Muthukumar released a press statement regarding his works of 2013. He thanked the press for supporting him and expressed gratitude to all the directors, music directors and producers, for their trust in him. He also thanked the singers of his songs. 

About 2013, he said, “2013 is my 10th year in the industry and with every passing year, the number of songs I write goes up. This year, I have written lyrics for 106 songs in 34 movies - among them, 10 movies had all its songs written by me.”

He also mentioned a list of the year’s super hits from his songs. The list included ‘Vaanganna Vanakkanganna’ (Thalaivaa), 'Aanandha Yaazhai' (Thanga Meengal), 'Hey Baby' (Raja Rani), 'Oh Penne' (Vanakkam Chennai), 'Yaaro Ivan' (Udhayam NH4), and 'Kuru Kuru' (Vathikuchi).
