Ivan Vera Mathiri first 3 days' Tamil Nadu Box-office Collection Report
Dec 16, 2013The Vikram Prabhu - Surabhi starrer, Ivan Vera Mathiri (IVM) has opened to good reviews and good occupancies all over the state of Tamil Nadu. The film has been appreciated for its pacy screenplay, the endearing romance angle and the performances of all the lead actors, particularly the main villain Vamsi. Directed by Saravanan and produced by Thirrupathi Brothers and UTV Motion Pictures, IVM is on its way to becoming a success if the initial response is anything to go by.
The film is estimated to have grossed around 6.5 to 7 crores after the first 3 days, from all over Tamil Nadu, according to highly placed trade sources. The average theatrical occupancies were hovering around the 70% mark over the weekend. The number of screens in which the film opened in the various distribution circuits in TN is as follows
Madurai - 36 screens, released by Gopuram Films
Coimbatore - 60 screens, released by Gopuram Films
North Arcot - 23 screens, released by Gopuram Films
South Arcot - 24 screens, released by Gopuram Films
Chengalpattu - 54 screens, released by Gopuram Films
Tirunelveli - 14 screens, released by Gopuram Films
Trichy - 27 screens, released by Thirrupathi Brothers
Salem - 47 screens, released by Thirrupathi Brothers
As reported earlier, IVM released in more than 500 screens all over the world with TN accounting for more than 320 screens.
