"Ivan Vera Mathiri is not INDIAN"

With Ivan Vera Mathiri due for release on Friday, the 13th of December, Saravanan, the director of the movie spoke about IVM, which is his second movie after Engeyum Eppodhum, in a recent interview.

Unlike movies like Indian and Anniyan where the protagonist lashes out at social problems as a result of issues they undergo personally, IVM will talk about an ordinary boy who looks at social problems differently and faces problems in his own style. The director opened up saying he had Arya in mind initially. However, the actor could not take it up due to personal reasons after which he zeroed in on Vikram Prabhu.

Saravanan mentioned that he chose Vikram Prabhu even before the release of Kumki.
