Vijay, Pawan Kalyan and Salman Khan are the chosen ones

Vijay had a super 2012 with two big hits in the form of Nanban and Thuppakki. His performance in both these films was lauded.

 

He has now been honored for his show in these two films with the Cosmopolitan People’s Choice Award 2013 for Best Actor in Tamil. Kajal Aggarwal was selected as the Best Actress in Tamil for her performance in Thuppakki.
 

Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan bagged the respective awards in Telugu thanks to the movie Gabbar Singh, while Salman Khan and Kareena won the corresponding awards in Hindi.
 

Shahrukh Khan was adjudged as the Cosmopolitan International Best Icon.
