Aamir Khan, who is fondly referred as Mr Perfectionist is celebrating his birthday today. The star turns 48.

Towards the end of last year, Aamir’s Talaash was received with mixed reviews given the huge hype. He has also been producing low budget yet quality movies like Peepli Live, Delhi Belly and Dhobi Ghat through his production house.

As an actor, he still commands a huge fan following and a big opening all over the world. Aamir’s fans are eagerly waiting for the star to strike back in Dhoom 3, in which he plays the antagonist with Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan for company. He also has Peekay (PK) opposite Anushka Sharma.

We hear that the star is in Switzerland now, shooting for Dhoom 3 and he is actually away from home on his birthday for the first time in close to 8-9 years. But the unit of Dhoom 3 is making all arrangements to make sure that Aamir's birthday bash is huge.
