Bollywood director Sajid Khan, who is famous for his Housefull, is working on the remake of Bollywood super hit Himmatwala, that starred Jithendra and Sridevi in the lead roles. This was the film that shed light on Sridevi in Bollywood.
The remake will see Ajay Devgan portraying the role of Jithendra. Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif or Anushka Sharma will be roped in for the film. The director has also zeroed on Southern actresses Tamannah and Anushka for the role Sridevi played in the original version. The buzz is that, both the stars are very interested in the project and fighting hard to bag the role.
