Kumki’s trumpet continues to blow

Prabhu Solomon’s elephant tale, Kumki starring Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in the lead is celebrating its 50th day in theatres today. The film’s simple story, visual excellence and melting music have caught hold of the hearts of people.

Meanwhile, using the reception and encouragement they have got through the film as a boost, director Prabhu Solomon, Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon have started working on their respective upcoming projects.

Prabhu Solomon is planning his next film with Gautham Karthik in the lead. Vikram Prabhu has signed two films- Saravanan’s Ivan Veramadhiri and UTV Motion Picture’s Sigaram Thodu. The young Lakshmi Menon is shooting for her third Tamil flick, Kutti Puli, alongside Sasi Kumar.
