Vijay’s Jilla was launched this morning in the presence of the star, his dad, director Nesan, composer Imman, producer R.B.Choudary and also Vijay’s co-star in the movie Mahat Raghavendra and Jiiva, son of R.B.Choudary. 

R.B said that Jilla is a script driven movie and that he was happy to be working with Vijay after the success of Thirupachi in 2005. This is also the silver jubilee year of Super Good Films. Vijay said that he was thrilled to share the screen space with Mohanlal and believed that Jilla will make it big thanks to its story and content. Director Nesan said that the movie is set around Madurai and that they were targeting a Pongal release.

The online space is buzzing with positive talk about the movie and its interesting title font which is doing the rounds since the morning. Vijay fans are an excited lot indeed.
