7 months of rigorous carrom practice just for the movie

Irfan, of Sundaattam fame, revealed recently that he practiced carrom for about 7 months prior to the film’s shoots so that he can learn all the nuances of the game properly. He plays a champion carrom player in the movie and he needed this practice so that it looked authentic on screen.

 

Sundaattam released this past Friday, March 8th, and the initial reviews have been pretty welcoming of the movie’s different premise and authentic 1990s setting.
