The audio launch of Gugan took place recently in the city and it was attended by prominent industry faces such as Bhagyaraj and his son Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Director Sasi and actress Namitha. Gugan is a film written and directed by Alagappan. It features music by composer Gurukalyan.

Gugan is a village subject that introduces two new faces in Arvind Kalathar, a nephew of Kala master, and Sushma Prakash, a B.Com student. Since both the leads are city-bred, they were made to undergo a workshop to get the rural nuances right. Panchu Subbu plays the villain while Singam Puli is entrusted with delivering the laughs. The team is particularly proud of the climax which they believe will be impactful.
