‘Captain’ Vijayakanth, who has been involved in politics full time, was out on a ‘filmy business’ recently. He graced the launch of an upcoming film, Idhu Manidha Kadhal Alla. While addressing the media he recollected, “Director Agni is the son of Eeshwar, who directed my ‘Simmasanam’. He was a kid back then and used to play on my lap.”

Vijayakanth had seen Agni’s short film on YouTube and was very impressed. The actor/politician feels that the youngster has a superb sense of humour. “I know how sincere and hardworking Agni is. Failures and Success are part of life. Neither must affect one’s involvement to work”, wished the veteran.
