Samuthirakani’s next Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Nimirndhu Nil starring Jayam Ravi (in Tamil) and Nani (in Telugu) is progressing at a brisk pace. Around 50% of the film has been canned already and the director is very happy with the output.

Meanwhile, there’s a new addition to the cast list. Sarath Kumar has been roped in to do a very important role in the project. He plays a CBCID officer in both the versions of the film and he will start shooting for his part from 15^th May, say reports.   

The film also stars Amala Paul as the female lead. GV Prakash Kumar is working on the music and M Sukumar is behind the lens.
