In a recent interview with a leading daily, Dhanush has opened up about his wife, Aishwarya, his Raanjhanaa director, Aanand Rai and co-star, Sonam Kapoor.

About his wife, he says that she is 100 times simpler than her father, superstar Rajinikanth. At the same time he says he also loves the fact that she is very complicated. Dhanush also credits her for being a beautiful and responsible mother.

Presently, Dhanush is staying with Aanand Rai in Mumbai for the campaign of Raanjhanaa. However, Dhanush assures that the director is “as straight as an arrow” and claims that Aanand is the only ‘white’ human being he has ever met before.
 

Sonam Kapoor is Dhanush’s first Bollywood heroine. He calls her his best friend in the industry and points to her straight forwardness and transparent nature as her best qualities.
