MARRIAGE, LOVE AND TRAGEDY; QUICK TURN OF EVENTS FOR TN COUPLE

Marriage

Rajashri, 23 was married to Velmurugan 29 who is working as Junior Revenue Analyst at District Collector's office at Eethangadu, Kanniyakurari. The couple got married to each other on November 25 and was living a happy life. Velmurugan resumed his work from December 9 2019.

On December 16, he returned back to home from office expecting his wife to be at home. To his shock, Rajashri went missing along with few ounces of gold, Rs 10000 and 2 cellphones. Velmurugan could only find the 'Thaali' of his wife at his home.

Love

Velmurugan raised a missing complaint at Velichandai Police station. During the police investigation, it was revealed that Rajashri had eloped with her school lover Santhosh who was also her neighbour. Rajashri's father accused Santhosh of luring her daughter for money since he had a lot of debts.

Police contacted Gopu, a friend of Santhosh in Bengaluru. Gopu informed that Santhosh and Rajashri stayed at his place for one day and moved out.

Tragedy

Out of embarrassment, Santhosh's father Jagdish consumed poison on Saturday and committed suicide. Reportedly Iraniyal police officers have filed a case and further investigation is underway.

The ignorant young love affair left Velmurugan and Rajashri's family in deep sorrow while taking one life (Jagdish).
