CHENNAI - THIEVES BREAK IN HOUSE AND STEAL GOLD AND FOREIGN LIQUOR

According to reports, a gang of thieves broke inside an industrialist's house in Anna Nagar, Chennai recently and stole 800 grams of gold, money and imported liquor.

Sathiyanarayanan, 60, owns a two-wheeler showroom in Permabur. Last week, the man along with his wife left for a function at his relative's house in Andhra Pradesh. When Kuppamma, who works there went to water the plants at the house yesterday, she noticed the lock broken.

Upon investigating, it was found that 800 grams, Rs 1 lakh and did not even spare the foreign liquor bottles. Reportedly, two more houses in the same area were robbed. The police are currently on the lookout for the thieves.
