TN WOMAN CHEATS PEOPLE LIKE VADIVELU AND GANG IN FILM

Rubini Priya (29) who belongs to Vadakipalayam, Pollachi in Coimbatore district was arrested by Ooty police for allegedly cheating up to 18 lakhs from 65 people. Reports say she formed a fake trust in Nilgiris district convincing people that she would give housing loan up to 20 lakhs.

Rubini Priya partnered with Siva, Karthik and Venkatesh from Coimbatore and started collecting advance payments from people.

The information came to light when a group of people registered a complaint at the Ooty Police station against Rubini Priya. The case was handled by DSP Subramaniyan who appointed Inspector Roslin to find Rubini Priya.

Once Rubini Priya was arrested, it was learned that one of her partners Siva was already serving in jail for some other case. Therefore the police are on the lookout for the other two accused, Karthik and Venkatesh.

Reportedly Rubini Priya and team collected 25 thousand to 85 thousand as advance payments from 65 people. During the investigation, it was revealed that Rubini wanted to live a luxurious life and such desire landed her to involve in cheating business.

Meanwhile, several other people who lost their money to Rubini gathered in Ooty's Crime Branch Office. The police officers advised them to seek the court for solutions.

In one of the Tamil films, Vadivelu and his gang would cheat the owner of a Rice mill by asking him to give 'Samples' of few rice varieties for free saying that they would purchase later. In the case of Rubini Priya, 'Samples' were replaced by 'Advance Payments' saying that she would give house loan later.
