The opening match of the Big Bash League (BBL) is currently making headlines for the bizarre bowling that was attempted on field. The match which has currently become the talk of the town was played between Sydney Thunder (SYT) and Brisbane Heat (BRH) at The Gabba in Brisbane. 

The ninth edition of Australia’s popular T20 tournament began on December 17. During the match, one moment caught everyone’s attention when Thunder’s finest bowler Daniel Sams came to bowl in the very first over. He tried to bowl a slower delivery, but the moment he released the ball, it went straight into the air and landed next to the square-leg umpire. 

The delivery shocked and surprised everyone on the field. After which commentators and crowd could be seen laughing while the bowler who was helpless just smiled. 

Within no time, Sams delivery went viral on social media as well and people had great reactions to it. Talking about the match, Thunder defeated Heat by 29 runs and got their BBL campaign score.
