After winning the election and becoming the MP of Sivagangai, Karti Chidambaram is meeting his alliances to thank them for th support, reports Vikatan.
While meeting in CPM and CPI party office, he said, "the reason for my victory is the effort alliance parties put. Alone, I would have got only around 1 lakh. Only with the help of alliances, I got over 3 lakh votes."
He went on to say how Kamal's MNM and Seeman's NTK have got 1 lakh votes. He said that young voters are looking for a change and it is not to be taken lightly.
He also said that earlier ADMK got 4 lakh votes and now they got 2 lakh votes. He said that it changes according to time. He vowed to bring welfare schemes for the constituency.
