CCTV FOOTAGE: MAN HOLDS GUN, ATTACKS BROKER AND MANAGER INSIDE CANARA BANK

A man in Coimbatore attacked the manager of Canara Bank by holding a gun in his hand. The CCTV footage of the incident surfaced on social media sharing platforms and is going viral.
Reports say that Vetrivel gave Rs 3 Lakhs to the broker Gunalan as a commission to get him a loan from Canara Bank located in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore. The bank Manager Chandrasekhar refused to grant the loan to Vetrivelan citing his background check.
According to the reports Vetrivelan belongs to Somayampayalam and owns a shop in Ondipudhur. His loan history revealed he had not paid his pending loan amount received from Andhra Bank. Therefore, Chandrasekhar from Canara Bank refused to grant him the requested loan amount.
A totally disappointed Vetrivelan carried an 'Air Gun' to the bank to attack broker Gunalan inside the Canara Bank. When Chandrasekhar tried to interrupt, Vetrivelan turned his attack on him. In between the tussle, he dropped his gun on the floor. The bank employees tried to drag him out of the place, but Vetrivelan pulled a knife and started attacking them.
The incident has created chaos in the bank where many people were spotted. The manager Chandrasekhar made a complaint against Vetrivelan at the Race Course road police station. The police officers filed a case for attempt to murder and arrested Vetrivelan for further investigations.
