"WHAT HAS HE DONE NOW?" GANGULY REPLIES TO QUESTION ON RAVI SHASTRI

The strained relationship between Sourav Ganguly and Ravi Shastri is evident for anyone who has been following cricket. Now that Ganguly is all set to become the new president of BCCI, question about Head Coach, Ravi Shastri was inevitable.

During a press conference, Ganguly was asked “Have you spoken with Ravi Shastri?” To which, he replied with a chuckle, “Why? What has he done now?”

The duo had a public row in 2016 after the Indian coach position was offered to Anil Kumble. “If Shastri thinks I was behind the appointment of Kumble as the coach and not him, then he is living in a fool’s paradise,” said Ganguly back then. Later, Kumble stepped aside due to 'differences' with Virat Kohli and Shastri was appointed as Head Coach.

Ganguly emerged as the lone contender and now is all set to become the new president of BCCI. He will take charge on October 23.
