Home > News Shots > SportsAs Coronavirus cases are rapidly increasing across the world, Team India captain Virat Kohli took to social media and posted a message asking fans and followers to stay safe and take care.
"Let's stay strong and fight the #COVID19 outbreak by taking all precautionary measures. Stay safe, be vigilant and most importantly remember, prevention is better than cure. Please take care everyone," Kohli tweeted.
Virat's post comes a day after Team India's ODI series against South Africa was called off. Other than the Indian skipper, batsman KL Rahul too shared awareness about the pandemic. He took to his Twitter handle stating that, "In these testing times let's stay strong and care for each other. Urging everyone to follow the instructions given by health experts and stay safe."
With current data and updates, the deadly virus has claimed more than 4000 lives across the globe, with two deaths reported in India.
