‘REMEMBER US IN YOUR PRAYERS’, CRICKETER TWEETS BEFORE LEAVING FOR PAKISTAN

Bangladeshi players have been reluctant to travel to Pakistan due to security reasons. Ahead of the three T20Is, two Tests and an ODI in Pakistan between January and April, Bangladesh team left for Pakistan on Thursday but not before left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman posting a cryptic tweet that read, “Heading to Pakistan. Remember us in your prayers. PAKvBAN.” In the picture accompanying the tweet, he can be posing with his teammates.

A few senior players like Mushfiqur Rahim had also pulled out of the tour, citing personal reasons. Post that, five members of the team squad also pulled out of the tour.
