Since it is the first of April, looks like the ICC has decided to take part in the fun. The ICC has posted a list of new rules that have really grabbed the attention of the fans and they are really hilarious.
The first rule is that, ICC will be applying numbers and Instagram handles to players kits for test championship !!!

The traditional coin toss to be replaced by an online twitter poll allowing the fans to decide!!!
In further changes ahead of the World Test Championship, the tradition of the coin toss will be replaced by a @Twitter poll, allowing fans at home to decide who bats and bowls! ICC (@ICC) April 1, 2019
If the temperature reaches 35 degrees Celsius, then the players are allowed to wear shorts!!!

Commentators can stand behind the slips cordon!!!

Double wicket play allowed!!!
After taking a catch, the fielding team will be permitted to complete a 'Double Wicket Play' by running out the other batsman ✌ ICC (@ICC) April 1, 2019
No balls and dot balls to be called as 'Faults' and 'Aces'!!!

Runs scored in the evening session of day/night test will count as double!!!

Finally, if there is a tie in the world test championship table, the first tie-breaking criteria will be Away Runs.
