Shahid Afridi, former Pakistan Allrounder has recently picked his all-time Worldcup XI for ESPN Cricinfo.

The XI players he picked was: Anwar, Gilchrist, Ponting, Kohli, Ul-Haq, Kallis, Akram, McGrath, Warne, Akhtar, Mushtaq.

Looking at this, most of the comments from fans was about Sachin Tendulkar who was missing from this line-up who is the leading run scorer in the history of the Worldcup with 2278 runs in 45 matches.

Players like Lara, Sangakkara missing out was also a surprise to many as they have been prolific in world cups. Muralitharan, who is the most successful spinner in world cups missing was a talking point as well.
